Osteoarthritis is one of more than 120 forms of arthritis which can occur in patients. It is seen in both men and women and usually happens after age 45.
Everyday, millions of people are enjoying better lives thanks to advances in medicine. However, for many of those people, the cure can be more stressful than the condition it is meant to treat.
Physical pain falls into two categories: Chronic (Long lasting) and Acute (Short-term).
Heart disease can affect men and women of all ages - it is not just a disease of the elderly.
The number of prescription drugs purchased annually in the U.S. has increased 74 percent over the past decade, with the average American now filling about a dozen prescriptions each year.
